Aya Riyad Abbas Mahdi Al-Shajari

I am an Iraqi visual artist specializing in realistic and portrait drawing. I have been practicing art since 2019, but my true talent began in childhood, when drawing was my personal world and my constant outlet.

I love experimenting with various types and styles of drawing, and I find particular pleasure in drawing landscapes, which provide me with psychological comfort and serenity upon completion. I love working with oil and acrylic paints, and I also use charcoal and pencil in some of my works.

Despite my busy schedule with family life, I have not lost my passion for drawing. In fact, I have become increasingly determined to invest in my talent and leave an artistic mark that expresses me and captures the beauty I see in nature and life.

I have not yet participated in art exhibitions, but I have a great ambition to be part of this world and to share with others what I draw with my heart and hands. I offer my paintings for sale through my social media pages (Facebook – Instagram), as well as through platforms that support Iraqi female visual artists.

For me, drawing is not just a hobby, but a passion, a message, and a way of life. I aspire for my art to reach everyone who loves beauty and tranquility, and for my drawings to find a place in people’s hearts and homes.
