Aya Al-Taie

 Visual Artist Aya Al-Taie is an Iraqi visual artist and Dentistry student who began her artistic journey in 2019. Since then, she has developed an active presence in the Iraqi art scene, participating in more than 50 local and international exhibitions. Her international participation includes an art exhibition in Saudi Arabia, while her work has also been featured in a wide range of cultural and artistic events across Iraq. Aya has participated in live painting events at prominent locations, including the Iraqi Fashion House in Baghdad and Hit District in Anbar Governorate. Her artistic portfolio also includes exhibitions hosted by the Embassy of Palestine and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as an exhibition at the Iraqi Ministry of Culture on Haifa Street in Baghdad. She has participated in two exhibitions at Gulbenkian Hall and has presented her artwork in various exhibitions across several Iraqi cities and governorates, including Duhok, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Babil, Khanaqin, Baghdad, and Anbar. Her exhibitions have also extended to important cultural and historical venues, including two exhibitions at the House of the renowned Iraqi poet Mohammed Mahdi Al-Jawahiri, in addition to an exhibition at the House of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waeli. Through her continued participation in exhibitions, cultural events, and live painting activities, Aya Al-Taie continues to expand her artistic experience and establish her presence within the contemporary Iraqi art community.
