خريجة كلية الفنون الجميلة لعام 1973–1974.
بدأت مسيرتي في مجال التعليم، ثم واصلت عملي في وزارة التربية – قسم التصميم، حيث كانت لي تجربة مميزة في رسم وتصميم كتاب الرياضيات الحديثة للصف الأول الابتدائي.
بعدها انتقلت إلى العمل الإداري، فشغلت منصب مديرة مدرسة ثم مشرفة إدارية اختصاصية التعليم الثانوي.
واليوم، وبعد التقاعد، أواصل ارتباطي بالفن كوني عضوًا في نقابة الفنانين العراقيين ، جمعية الفنانين التشكيليين ، وبعد احالتي الى التقاعد عدت الى ممارسة اختصاصي الدقيق الرسم

Nahidah Mahmood Mahdi
a graduate of the College of Fine Arts, class of 1973–1974.
I began my career in the field of education, then continued my work at the Ministry of Education – Design Department, where I had a remarkable experience illustrating and designing the Modern Mathematics textbook for the first grade.
Later, I transitioned into administration, serving as a school principal and then as an administrative supervisor specializing in secondary education.
Today, after retirement, I continue my connection to art as a member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and the Society of Fine Artists.
After being retired, I returned to practicing my true specialty — painting.
