نبذة عن العمل : تصوّر هذه اللوحة بأسلوب رمزي معاصر حكاية النبي يونس كما تجذّرت في الذاكرة الثقافية لمدينة نينوى. يظهر جامع النبي يونس، وسور نينوى مع بوابة نركال المحروسة بتماثيل اللاماسو، كرموز للحضارة الآشورية والهوية العربية. السفينة، الحوت، والقرع تُجسّد محطات التحول: من الهروب من الرساله الإلهية إلى المواجهة ثم إلى الرحمة. السماء الخضراء الهادئة ترمز لكون نينوى المدينة الوحيدة التي غُفر لها، في تجل لمعنى الغفران الجماعي والتجدد. العمل يجمع بين العمق الروحي والبعد التاريخي، ليعبر عن هوية ثقافية ما زالت تنبض بالأمل رغم العواصف.
