About the work: “My painting ‘The Cry of Consciousness’ is oil on canvas. Size 100*150. When the raven cries, the truth is revealed in its heaviest note. Its voice is not pleasing, heavy on the ears like the truth itself, but it awakens the soul. The mask melts away, and lies are extinguished at the threshold of the door, the door of consciousness that opens only to light after darkness. For true speech is hated, like people’s hatred of the raven’s voice, even though it is an intelligent creature that possesses sublime human qualities: loyalty, caution, and the ability to distinguish between light and darkness. But the falseness of people does not allow them to accept the honest person, the one who confronts them with the mirror of truth without falsification or flattery.”

نبذة عن العمل: لوحتي نعيق الوعي زيت على قماش .. القياس 100•150 حين ينطق الغراب، تتجلّى الحقيقة في أثقل نغمة. صوته لا يُطرب، ثقيلٌ على الآذان كقول الصدق، لكنه يوقظ الروح. فيذوب القناع، وتنطفئ الأكاذيب على عتبة الباب، باب الوعي الذي لا يُفتح إلا للنور بعد العتمة. فالكلام الحقيقي مكروه، مثل كره الناس لصوت الغراب، مع أنّه كائن ذكيّ يحمل صفاتٍ إنسانية سامية: الوفاء، والحذر، والقدرة على التمييز بين النور والظلمة. لكن زيف البشر لا يدعهم يتقبّلون الإنسان الصادق، ذاك الذي يواجههم بمرآة الحقيقة بلا تزييف ولا مجاملة.
