About the work: Upon examining this ceramic work, we find it represents a departure from the norm in ceramic sculpture. It consists of a spherical form resting on thin, cylindrical clay strips colored with metallic oxides on both sides. This creates contrasting tones, contrasting with the brown color resulting from the oxides themselves and a thin layer of leaded glass, which lends a smooth surface to the sphere. While potters typically find it challenging to achieve balance between the spherical mass and the undulating, thin strips, this artist is constantly exploring and experimenting with the formal and structural properties of the material, its inherent assumptions, and the creative vision embodied in the overall product. This vision, expressed concisely, conveys experiences and insights that suggest profound intellectual meanings, allowing the viewer a variety of artistic interpretations of the work.

نبذة عن العمل : عند قراءة العمل الخزفي نجده يمثل نوعا من الخروج عن المألوف في بناء النحت الخزفي المكون من شكل كروي يرتكز على شرائح طينية رقيقةاسطوانية الشكل ملونة بالاكاسيد المعدنية في كلا الجانبين لاضفاء مؤثرات لونية مغايرة عن اللون البني الناتج من وبعض الاكاسيد وطبقة خفيفة من زجاج الرصاص التي اضفت مظهرية ناعمة لسطح الكرة. عادة مايجد الخزاف صعوبة في تحقيق الاتزان بين الكتلة الكروية والشرئح الرقيقة المتموجة الا ان الخزافة هنا دائمة البحث والتجريب في البنى الشكلية والتركيبية للخامة وافتراضاتها وايضا الرؤية الابداعية المتمثلة بالنتاج الكلي وراء جوهر الأشياء، والتعبير عنها بشكل موجز يحمل خبرات، وتجارب توحي بالكثير من المضامين الفكرية الراقية وهنا تسمح للمشاهد بتنوع القراءات الفنية للعمل .
